David Cancel (CEO @ Drift, formerly CPO @ Hubspot) listed four main traits he looks for in recruitment process:
1. Cultural Fit – how well a candidate fits in a team.
2. Scrappiness & Drive – willingness and ability to tackle problems with limited resources.
3. Intelligence – the hunger to learn and ability to adapt.
4. Experience – career and life experience.
All of them are extremely important however scrappiness & drive are often undervalued in job descriptions and recruitment processes.
